Apple has released the ProRes RAW codecs for Windows in beta form, enabling these files to be handled by certain apps. If you're a fan of the codec, you're probably working with Mac devices anyway, but if you happen to be using Windows, you can now use the codecs on that platform too. Recently, Apple introduced ProRes RAW and ProRes RAW HQ, more advanced version of the codecs meant for the creation of HDR content in software like Apple's own Final Cut Pro. Video creators that work with Apple's Mac products are probably already familiar with ProRes, the company's family of video codecs, which aim to combine editing performance and image quality.
